Shows

Shows have been our most visible interest so far. We have been training with the local club and also by ourselves.

Sini's first show was an unofficial puppy show in Helsinki 13.11.2005. The judge was Taina Nygård and she was BOB puppy. After that there have been many shows and various results. Sini has got three CAC's and she has been BOS twice.

Obedience

We have trained obedience for quite a long time, but  I have been too lazy to train properly. Sini likes it and learns easily. For a meatball she does almost anything. Our first unofficial competition was 16.6.2009 and we got 2 in beginners class with 154 points. And finally the first official competition at briard obedience championships in Espoo 17.7.2010 with 2 in beginners class with 152 points. The judge was Harri Laisi.

Agility

This summer (2007) we started to train agility. We took a course and are now training regularly. Sini likes it, but I'm not very good.

We started our career in unofficial competitions in Elimäki on 13.3.2008 with the result 32,74 penalty points and 9th place. Not too bad. The second unofficial competition was after puppies in Kouvola on 29.5.2009 15 penalty points and 4th place and 26.6.2009 not competing class 10 penalty points and 2nd place and competing class rejected.

Our first official competitions were in Kouvolassa 25.7.2009 and we get rejected at both the jump and agility tracks. In Lappeenranta 15.8.2009 we got our first results and placements.

Other

We have also trained some tracking. Sini likes that too. She also enjoys being in the woods and chasing hares and birds and so on. In the summer she enjoys being in water and swimming. Playing with other dogs is also nice, Sini is a little too rough for many of them. She has no favourite toys, all will do, balls, sticks, staffs, teddybears and other softies.
